Sender Policy Framework

The SPF project is being driven by several teams of volunteers:

• The SPF Council – a group of five elected members of the community who steer the overall efforts of the project.
• The Support Team – never tired of processing the help requests on the spf-help mailing list and from the website's contact form.
• The Webmasters – building and keeping the website in shape.

Honorary Mentions

The following individuals have contributed significant amounts of time and work to the project in the past:

• Meng Weng Wong founded the project in 2003, created the first specification drafts, and spent countless hours at industry conferences explaining and advocating SPF in particular and e-mail sender authentication in general.
• Wayne Schlitt helped editing the early specification drafts before he completely took over as editor of the draft-schlitt-spf-classic draft series in late 2004, leading up to the last draft, which was submitted to the IETF in June 2005.
